* MENSAJE BILING¨UE*Banda UNM is a brass band of UNM undergraduates, graduate students, and alums who share a passion for the style of Banda Sinaloense music from Northern Mexico. Banda UNM brings energy to gigs that get audiences on their feet, singing and dancing. This concert is their debut performance! Banda UNM plays ballads, boleros, cumbias, and rancheras from artists such as Banda El Recodo, Jenni Rivera, José Alfredo Jiménez, Los Ángeles Azules, Luis Miguel, Pedro Infante, and many more. Banda UNM is under the direction of graduate musicology student Roberto De Leon, whose thesis is on Banda Sinaloense music.This is a free event and open to all ages. Refreshments will be provided. Banda UNM siempre presenta con energia y pone a bailar y a cantar a sus audiencias. Este concierto es su gran estreno!Banda UNM toca baladas, boleros, cumbias y rancheras de artistas como Banda El Recodo, Jenni Rivera, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Los Ángeles Azules, Luis Miguel, Pedro Infante y muchos mas. Banda UNM esta bajo la direccion de Roberto De Leon, estudiante de posgrado en musicologia, cuya tesis es sobre la musica de Banda Sinaolense.Este evento es gratis y abierto a todas las edades.
