MDWST CONNECT presents A night where artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs can come together, connect, dance, and have a great time alongside Chicago's hottest DJ - Aced Spade. This season we are hosting some of Chicago's greatest musical artists! Come see Mansa, Fable, Ron Parks, and Ryan James Salmon as this season's featured artists! If you love a nice party on a Saturday night with live music and a DJ, this is your chance to come show up and show off! This event is made to bring all sides of Chicago together and bridge the community. Last year we hosted Chicago act, Soldial. This Spring, we're introducing even more acts! About UsWe are an event-based series that hosts community events in Chicago. Our goal is to bring together Chicago’s talented scene to connect, collaborate, and create with one another in a friendly, judgment-free environment. We provide musical artists, vendors, and Chicago locals a space to showcase their talent in front of an audience of over 150 people from all sides of Chicago. With a roster of five multi-instrumentalists local to Chicago and ensemble of vocalists, they draw on influence from neo soul, gospel, hip-hop, and even film score to push a simple message: be exactly who you are, boldly.About Fable: F.A.B.L.E made Chicago Headlines with the release of his first Published body of work, "The Hermit." Soon after, the "The Reader" Featured him once more for his first studio album, "DUCKWEED"Since then, F.A.B.L.E has been laying the groundwork for his future. He's performed and headlined many Chicago events, including, but not limited to venues such as: "Mamby on the Beach", "The Chicago African Fest", SoFar Sounds Chicago, The Chicago RAGV, House of Vans, The Hideout, Cole's Bar, Promontory, and Silveroom Block Party, just to name a few.F.A.B.L.E has continued to strive throughout the course of the recent pandemic, most notably, his two singles, "Ashland ft. Featuring musical powerhouses like "Silas Short" and Add-2, as well as musical collaborations from "Jackson Sheppard" (Human Bloom), Jake Victor, and Seb Zel; undoubtedly, F.A.B.L.E further weaponizes his innate understanding of musical versatility as tool to break through Chicago's underground mold.About Ryan: Ryan James Salmon is an alternative/soft rock/dream pop artist that uses songwriting to express complex emotions ranging from modern existential dread to the high and lows of love. Accompanied by Christopher Hogan on guitar, Marcos Morales on bass and Tito Herrera on drums, the group creates their own unique, melodic atmosphere that the whole room will feel.
