The 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration hosted by The Black Collective and Iota Phi Theta -Theta Gamma Chapter. Please come join us for a day full of festivities that include notable African American speaking, and African Marketplace, Foodie Area ,Kids Zone and More. Juneteenth is a significant day in American history, marking the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. In Riverside, California, Juneteenth is typically held to commemorate this important occasion. At the event, there are live musical performances, spoken word poetry, and other forms of artistic expression celebrating the African American experience. There also will be educational workshops, panel discussions, and other programming that explore the history and significance of Juneteenth and its continued relevance today. In addition to the cultural and educational programming, there will be vendors selling food, crafts, and other merchandise. The event offers a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the achievements of African Americans throughout history, while also reflecting on the work that still needs to be done to achieve true equality and justice for all.
