Basic to intermediate skills in English paper piece quilting. English paper pieced quilts are made by cutting the desired shapes out of paper or card and wrapping each piece in fabric then joining each piece together by hand sewing. In these classes students will learn how to make a rectangle quilt block from an A4 page (Erin will mark out the pieces beforehand) and the process of finishing the edges It will help if you at least have basic hand sewing skills and lots of patience Please bring to class: Scissors for cutting paper. Any woven fabric that you would like to use (Erin will have a selection of fabrics for you to choose from too) Everything else will be provided
