Games will be 30 minutes or 5 innings, whichever comes first. 3. Umpire coin toss will determine home team. 4. Home runs allowed per team for each game is 3. After 3 it becomes an out unless your team has purchased additional home runs prior to each game. See tournament director to purchase. 5. Run rule of 20 after 3 innings, 15 after 4 innings, and 10 after 5 innings. 6. Teams may bat the roster. 7. Courtesy runners are not allowed. 8. At the beginning of the game, pitchers can declare they are pitching only and not be put in the batting line-up. If a pitcher chooses to bat, when it’s their turn someone else can pitch to them. After they reach first base, a runner can take their place, or they can continue to run the bases while the other pitcher is pitching. (The runner for the pitcher is not considered a courtesy runner, only a fill-in for pitcher.) 9. YOU GET ONE PITCH! • Your own pitcher pitches the ball to you. • You must hit that pitch regardless whether that pitch is a strike or ball. • IF YOU DO NOT HIT THE PITCH YOU ARE OUT. • A FOUL BALL IS AN OUT. • There are no illegal pitches and the batter’s box will not be used. • Batters may step on the plate or hit off a bounce. 10. The defensive pitcher must stand within a 6-foot radius arc of the pitching rubber. They must stay at the line until the ball has been pitched. 11. The offensive pitcher cannot play defensively or field the ball. Anytime the offensive pitcher touches the ball after the pitch, the ball is dead and it is a DEAD BALL OUT. #loveoneanother
