The MPD Victim Services Unit is committed to creating an environment where survivors of crime have the confidence that they will be heard, believed and supported. This walk is for a cause --to show that police stand with families whose lives have been forever altered by crime. We resolve to help them find their justice and forge new healing pathways. The Victims of Crime Awareness Walk starts in the parking lot behind police headquarters (2460 Government Blvd.) and ends at Public Safety Memorial Park with a special ceremony. Everyone is invited.
