Our mission at C.I.C is to provide a professional developmental experience to unify and enhance the Cleveland and surrounding dance communities through knowledge, resources, and elite training that results in exceptional artistry, skill, and industry etiquette. We are incredibly thrilled to have a handful of professionals on this year's lineup that will provide all the tools necessary to advance and educate dancers through an audition seminar, a series of classes, mock auditions, and a chance to be chosen for concept videos and outside dance gigs. 9:30am: DOORS OPEN 10:00am - 11:30am: Howard Washington -The Profile Room 2 3 headshots, 2 body shots. 11:30-12: Amanda Recko Downing - The Seminar Room 1 Performer, Director, and Choreographer of Cedar Point Inc. She will be sharing her knowledge and expertise on audition and industry etiquette from a directors standpoint. 12-1: Amanda Recko Downing - The Audition Room 1 A commercial jazz class focusing on the experience of a mock audition inspired from the structure of Cedar Fairs professional audition tour. 1-2: Marquise and Lex B - The Hiphop Performance Project Room 1 An authentic hip hop class focusing on the structure of moving as a unit and keeping your individuality throughout a performance. 2-2:30: Open Study An open and educational discussion about different avenues within the dance/entertainment industry and how to navigate it. 2:30-3:30: Nina Pollzzie - The Contemporary Concept Room 1 A contemporary class that focuses on mind, body, soul connection through inner work to break barriers and focus on the power of staying sharp minded throughout the process. 3:30-4:30: Carlin - The Tour Room 1 A fusion class focusing on the performance elements of being on a professional dance based tour.
