The LocLunch™ Seattle event for April has been scheduled a little later in the month than usual to welcome a special guest from out of town–from Prague to be precise! Global Brand Champion Javier Díaz Fernández-Carvajal from Acclaro will be joining us this month. Some of us already know him, and the rest of us will have the opportunity to meet him on April 27th at Agave Cocina & Cantina in Redmond. Agave Cocina & Cantina 17158 Redmond Way Redmond, WA 98052 Javier constantly travels the world and connects with localization communities wherever he goes, so let's give him a warm welcome and show him what makes the Seattle localization community so tight-knit! Also, due to the tough times many in our community are facing in light of the layoffs at tech companies in the area, we would like to introduce a new initiative at this month's event. If you are currently looking for localization work, please feel free to write #looking on your name tag.
