Details Indulge in a blissful, candlelit evening of gentle yoga and delicious light bites at the beautiful historic Quilt Building in Pioneer Square. We will begin with a tranquil gentle yoga practice, guided by yoga instructor, Keturah Williams. Following the yoga session, savor a variety of light bites and refreshments while socializing with fellow yogis. Join us for an unforgettable evening of relaxation, community, and nourishment. We are excited to share this rejuvenating experience with you. Optional Post-Event Dinner Following the event, we will walk one block over to Deadline Cocktail Lounge and Kitchen for dinner and more socializing! There will be an option to indicate your interest in joining us on your ticket. Dinner is not included in the event ticket price. About the Quilt Building Built in 1904, with equal parts vintage charm and clean, contemporary style, the newly renovated Quilt Building offers sophisticated lofts and flats with open floor plans. These historic lofts in Seattle’s Pioneer Square have been meticulously refurbished and are now available for your personal touch. Yoga Information This practice is designed to improve flexibility, balance, and overall well-being while also helping you find a deeper connection between your mind, body, and breath. The use of supportive pillows, blankets, and/or yoga props is encouraged to support the body and aid in the release of tension. No prior yoga or exercise experience is necessary. Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle.Participants are encouraged to bring a pillow and/or a small foldable blanket to support the body during class but these items are not required. A very limited number of supportive yoga props will be available for use .Sanitizing spray and towels will be available.Meet your Instructor: Keturah grew up in the greater Washington DC area and received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Health Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Following graduation, she joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and during the 2013 government shutdown, she discovered her love of yoga. She earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from the Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica and began offering weekly classes to NIH employees. Keturah moved to Seattle in 2019 and began teaching power yoga, yin yoga, and chair yoga while working remotely for the NIH as a Senior Budget Analyst. Outside of work and teaching yoga, Keturah models for the Seattle-based TCM Agency and enjoys spending time with her dog BJ. She loves finding ways of making yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of body type, age, or abilities, and she looks forward to sharing her love of yoga with you! Parking: Street parking is available as well as a small lot located across the street from the Quilt Building (Lot Address: 301 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104). The event is 18+ .
