May 13 – Mother's Day Afternoon Tea/Decorating Sugar Cookies 2pm – 4:00pm Cost $45/per family of 2 In celebration of Mother’s Day, The Stone Oven in Cleveland Heights, invites families to treat their special “Mother” to afternoon tea while decorating sugar cookies. A tiered presentation with a selection of sweet treats, freshly baked tea cookies, our homemade brownies, macaron, and unlimited tea or seasonal juice. TOP TIER- Macaron, & Brownie MIDDLE TIER - Spritz, Rugelach & thumbprint cookies. BOTTOM TIER - Tea sandwiches: cucumber with chive cream cheese, peanut butter, and biscotti of the week. While enjoying your afternoon tea and desserts, you will decorate sugar cookies in the theme: tea pot, teacup, flower, and a heart with Mom written in the center at Stone Oven Bakery and Cafe' Eton, 28601 Chagrin Blvd #910, Woodmere, OH. This event is family friendly, and children are welcome. You and your “Mom” will be provided 4 pre-baked sugar cookies, royal icing in the shades of our theme. I will teach you basic piping and flooding techniques. In addition to your amazing self-decorated cookies, you'll leave with instructions to decorate at home, and recipes to make your own cookies and icing. Prepayment in full is required and no refunds, but student substitution is fine. Cookie workshop class sizes are limited and fill quickly, so please register early.
