Adinkra symbol for perseverance is Wawa Aba. The Wawa tree seed, known for being very hard, a symbol of toughness and perseverance through extreme difficulty. We've watched Sterling grow from a shy, reserved child, to a young adult with GRIT, purpose and drive. Through Sterling's higher education journey, he endured some tough times.
