In February, we launched our SEG ALUM-NIGHTS, a quarterly series that we created to bring our social impact community together. We filled the room with friends from our program's past and checked in about the activity that alumni continue to create in the community!
.
.
This month we're back for our second event which will be on Thursday, April 27 and will focus on the creative community in Providence – Makers, Creators, and Artists! **Note: this event is open to the public. We ask that if you bring additional guests that their name(s) get registered separately.
.
.
You'll hear from Jon Hope (SEG Incubator Alumni, Hip Hop Artist & Founder of Hope Scholars Initiative), Chance Boas (SEG Accelerator Alumni, Founder of PVD World Music & African Film Fest), Sabrina Chaudhary (stay silent PVD), and our moderator Sound (Club Ambition Podcast) on building and sustaining an artist economy in Providence.
.
.
We've graduated over 20 cohorts from our Accelerator, Incubator, and Ideator programs in the past 4 years and we're inviting everyone back to our space, in person, to connect and discuss how creatives are raising capital, the realities of fundraising, and what activities featuring the arts in our community are gaining national attention.
.
.
If you're looking to surround yourself with local business owners, expand your business and community contacts, and make in-person connections over shared visions then we welcome you to SEG ALUM-NIGHTS: Creative Capital!
