On Thursday, April 27th, at 8pm, Boston Bouldering Project and Harvard Mountaineering Club will be hosting a presentation by Susan E.B. Schwartz on the incredible life of Hans Kraus, one of the pioneers of climbing in the Gunks and the father of sports medicine (not to mention JFK’s secret doctor!). A member of the Literary Committee of the American Alpine Club and a Harvard College alum, Susan has written a book on Hans Kraus (copies of which will be available for sale) in addition to feature articles for Climbing, Rock and Ice, Runner’s World, and Outside. Come to BBP at 8pm on the 27th for this free and fascinating presentation.
All attendees must complete a waiver (using the link here) before entering the facility.
