Safe, healthy housing is important for everyone. If you rent your home or apartment, we invite you to Healthy Housing Tenant Talks on Saturday, April 29 . Our event takes place at the The Leo Butler Center from 11:00 am-12:30. Our partners for this event are Together Baton Rouge, The Housing 1st Alliance, and the Mayor’s Office. We want to understand the barriers you face as a renter. We will be there to listen to your concerns. At future meetings, we hope to share resources to help with the barriers you tell us about. Our volunteers want to know what needs to change to be sure everyone has a safe and affordable home. Again, this event is for renters. Lunch and childcare will be provided at the Library.
