KIWANIS is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The Lomita-Harbor City Kiwanis Club awards scholarships to area high school graduates. It also sponsors a KIWINS Club at Narbonne High, KEY CLUBs at Narbonne High, Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy, HArts Academy of LA, Torrance Community, CIRCLE K CLUB at Harbor College, and K-KIDS CLUB at Dolores Ave Elementary School. These clubs’ highly motivated youth members develop leadership skills and assist the community with many volunteer hours and fund- raising activities, all the while having fun doing it. All sponsored youth clubs provide leadership and service opportunities for their members while encouraging academic excellence. Our Kiwanis Club also supports many other youth & community groups and co-owns Lomita Kiwanis Garden Senior Living Facility. Serving the Communities of Lomita & Harbor City Since 1936
