The Cal Poly Alumni - Los Angeles Community is pleased to offer local alumni an exclusive tour of NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL), on Friday, May 26 from noon to 2 p.m. PST (4800 Oak Grove Dr, Pasadena, CA 91109). Fellow Mustangs and current employees of JPL will be your guides in this intimate, interactive event. Participants will get a behind-the-scenes- look at JPL and learn how the lab plays an integral role in the country's space exploration efforts. This tour allows access to areas of the facility not available in the general public tours. After the tour, join us at 2:30 p.m. at nearby restaurant HomeState to network and socialize (1992 Lincoln Ave, Pasadena, CA 91103). Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 and include a guided tour of the JPL facility and a special Cal Poly gift. Space is limited and RSVPs are required. Please purchase your ticket by Thursday, May 11. -------------------------------------- NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab requires that all U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, present official, government-issued photo identification (driver's license or passport) before being allowed entry. Individuals without proper identification will not be admitted to the Laboratory. Please be advised that tours involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing. Wheelchair access can be accommodated with advance notice; however, wheelchairs cannot be provided. Please dress for the weather, as the tour will proceed rain or shine! Cameras are permitted at the facility.
