An opportunity to come together and share your love of bones with likeminded enthusiasts! Discussions will be held on how to acquire bones for personal use, as well as how to clean, repair, and display them. Participants are encouraged to join into deeper conversations regarding the symbolic and sacred nature of bones, the reverence of working with the dead, and facing our own mortality through art. Each participant will receive an owl pellet to dissect during the workshop (take some tiny bones home!) as well as numerous printed resources, including bone identification charts and step-by-step instructions on bone processing. All dissection materials will be provided. No experience with bones required!
