Get ready to fire up your taste buds! You Grill, Girl! is a one-of-a-kind culinary event that celebrates women and their passion for grilling, cooking, and making. Hosted by Les Dames d'Escoffier Austin Chapter and presented by YETI and Whim Hospitality, the event brings together talented pitmasters and chefs to showcase their unique grilling skills and delicious dishes. Taking over the parking lot of legendary Franklin BBQ, attendees can expect to indulge in an array of mouth-watering barbecue, grilled meats, vegetables, desserts, and other delectable treats, all cooked to perfection by some of the best chefs and restaurateurs in the region. In addition to the delicious food, guests can also enjoy custom cocktails by Jessica Sanders, specialty beverages from local breweries and vineyards, several non-alcoholic options, music by DJ Cassandra, and a very popular silent auction, making for a fun and memorable evening. Not only does You Grill, Girl! provide a platform for local grillers and makers to showcase their talents and skills in the traditionally male-dominated world of grilling, but it also supports a great cause. All proceeds from the event go towards Les Dames d'Escoffier Austin Chapter's programs and initiatives, including providing grants and scholarships for women working in food, beverage, and hospitality. By attending You Grill, Girl!, you can enjoy a fantastic evening of food, fun, and philanthropy while supporting the local community. This year at the You Grill Girl event, Alvies boots will be hosting a Boot Party up stairs in our dining room in continued support of Les Dames d’Esoffier. Alvies will be donating an extra 15% of sales for anyone that purchases boots during the event. If you’d like to try on a pair, follow the instructions below and book a fitting during the event - they will have your size and styles waiting on you. Street parking is limited so we recommend walking, biking, public transportation or ride sharing.   FAQs  Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. You may pull up your order confirmation from your email on your mobile device.   FAQs What are the ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Children are allowed. Please grab a child ticket from the ticketing page. *There is a minimum age of 21 to partake in alcoholic beverages.
