Here’s a quick overview of the Leaders’ Roundtable and why we now have three: Six times each year StrongLead and Catawba Valley Leadership Foundation host a Leaders' Roundtable. These events bring together leaders in our area for 90-minutes of topic-based learning, a quick-hit of encouragement, and the opportunity to connect with others. The success of these events in the past has led us to create a Leaders' Roundtable in Caldwell County and Catawba County, in addition to one in Burke County. The three separate meetings will be based on the same content but will allow us to invest in a larger number of leaders in our area. This also allows you to choose a date and location that works best for you! You are welcome to attend any roundtable event so long as there are available seats. May Topic: Growing the Right Leadership Presence as Your Responsibility Increases Whether you’re climbing the corporate ladder or just becoming more and more effective in your current role, you want to increase your responsibility. But too often responsibility outpaces presence. This can be a big problem. Join us for this month’s Leaders Roundtable when we will address the kind of presence that needs to be developed as your responsibility grows. We’ll talk about what “presence” is, how you can develop it, and how you can demonstrate it well to those who need it from you. Space is limited to 20 people.
