AboutFACT: Pomona is a hot spot for human trafficking MYTH: All prostitutes are working out of choice FACT: Social media is a common tool being used by traffickers to befriend people they're trying to recruit MYTH: It's obvious when someone is being recruited/coerced by a trafficker Join us to learn more. Knowledge is power. You too can save yourself or someone else from being trafficked. Prevention is key to helping ensure that this deplorable crime is exposed and eliminated from our schools, neighborhoods and community. Please join the Pomona Wellness Community, Project Sister Family Services, Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan and Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis in convening to raise awareness of human trafficking in our community and the vulnerable populations targeted.
