Ideas Night is an opportunity to learn more about ARTx. This experience is important to anyone who has a role in making Flagstaff and our region a better place. Ideas Night launches two days of art-centric programming and experiences in Flagstaff. The night begins with a preview of Blooming From the Ashes, an interdisciplinary and interactive performance piece that addresses the social, ecological and emotional impact of increased wildfires as a result of forest management and climate change. Majora Carter, a Peabody Award winning broadcaster and social-entrepreneur, is the Ideas Night keynote speaker. Her presentation, Reclaiming Your Community, focuses around celebrating and retaining talent, the interconnection of arts and ideas, and how we can authentically engage with all members of our diverse community.
