Calling all adults in the community along the Southwest Light Rail project to come check out the great union trades that are building the project. At the event you will be able to get a hands-on taste of the union construction trades - test your skills on various construction tools and equipment, build a brick wall, run electric wiring, use a crane simulator, etc. and learn more about the great career pathways and benefits of being in the trades by talking with both unions and contractors that are part of the Light Rail team. You will also have access to talk with representatives from the many construction pathway programs that are available for you right here in our community.
