Part of MFA Directors Lab at Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama (taught by Prof. Ivan V Talijancic, special visiting faculty at The John Wells Directing Program) MUSIC VIDEO PROJECT is a result of the John Wells Directing Fellows' exploration of iconic characters from the classical dramatic literature. The directors reinvisioned protagonists from Shakespeare and Greek drama in a strikingly contemporary light, through interdisciplinary collaboration with students from the Video & Media Design program, the CMU School of Music, as wells the experience designers / entrepreneurs from our host venue, Tolve. The culmination of a year-long experiment, this event will include a screening of final videos directed by Tatiana Baccari, B Kleymeyer, Carlos Martinez, Jasmine Roth, along with a bonus video directed by Prof. Talijancic. Character-ispired non-alcoholic elixirs crafted by Tolve's founders Stephanie Nicolaas and Kira Hoeg will be served. 8.30pm: doors + drinks 9.00pm: screenings + reception This is an intimate event.
