Description

Participants at the Ghost Walk will hear haunting stories and history about the early days of Lincoln Park. Ghost stories associated with the buildings and homes along Fort Park Boulevard from Southfield to Garfield will be told. This section of Lincoln Park dates to the 1850’s when Cleophus Goodell purchased 120 acres from the Native Americans. Along this section of Fort Park lived Lincoln Park’s founding families of the Cleophus Goodell family and the Herman Quandt family. The annual Ghost Walk, now in its 15th year, is a great family event due to its affordability, appeals to all ages along with its educational and historical content. Meet in the parking lot of the Lincoln Park Historical Museum. Parking available at municipal parking lots of Fort & Southfield, Fort Park & Philomene and City Hall as well as along Cleophus and Forrest Avenue.
