Lila Cornelio is a registered and licensed dietitian, with a bachelor’s in culinary nutrition and a master’s in public health. Born and raised in Chicago, she believes she was led to the panhandle to create a positive impact in the community, particularly among the Hispanic and Latino populations and those living with diabetes.
When she is not teaching diabetes education or nutrition consulting, she is sharing her culinary creations to inspire creativity in others in the kitchen. Lila emphasizes that you do not have to sacrifice flavor when eating for health, and strives to create recipes that range from vegetarian cuisine and Mexican-inspired to fitness-focused and athletic performance.
Lila hopes to utilize her passion for nutrition and her strong background in fitness and culinary, to be the voice behind the actions that others take to improve their health and self-management. She is currently launching her business to promote a lifestyle that encompasses all aspects of physical and emotional health so you can BE YOU and live a more meaningful life. Through authenticity and compassion, she addresses barriers and creates realistic goals that align with one’s lifestyle while reframing the way we approach eating to build a healthy relationship with food.
