Description

One of the ten community values clarified by the Interfaith Leadership Council of Metropolitan Detroit is "mutuality", an openness to working together for common goals and understandings. This year, Holy Week/Easter, Passover, and Ramadan, central holidays of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, converge in time. Representatives from each of these religious communities will describe what principles are at the core of these holy days and provide a meaningful experience of reflection and engagement for these communities. Meet our panelists: Imam Mika’il Stewart Saadiq, Muslim Center Masjid Rabbi Megan Brudney, Temple Beth El Dr. Joshua Rhodenizer, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Moderated by: Dr. Paula Drewek of WISDOM Join us for a panel discussion of what these major holidays mean to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 7:00 pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 37425 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48304.
