Hosted by the University of Rochester School of Medicine's Recovery Center for Excellence, the community conversation will facilitate learning about stigma related to substance use disorder (SUD). Participants will engage in open dialogue about the lived experiences of people with SUD and their families, and will explore how we can work together in our communities to reduce stigma.
There will be two Community Conversation sessions:
5/18 @ 9:30 am & 5/19 @ 9:30 am
Followed by a Train the Trainer session: 5/18 @ 1:30 pm. Train the Trainer is intended to teach participants how to apply the skills they have gained to host their own Community Conversation workshops.
