Join GW faculty Elisabeth Anker, Harris Mylonas, and Matt Dallek for a conversation about the ideas and themes featured in their recent books, which draw on theory, political science, history, and other disciplines to examine the subterranean and often under-appreciated forces that have challenged liberal democracy and propped up authoritarian regimes around the world. The panel will discuss how different disciplines seek to explain developments central to modern politics.
This event is co-sponsored by the Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM), the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences (CCAS), and the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (IERES) at GW. Books by the authors will be sold at the event.
