We asked our Community Baby Shower families and participants what else they may need. We listened and birthed "Tribe Time" a safe space to exist. Parenting and caregiving for babies, children, and young adults is HARD! We see you, we understand you, we are you. Join us each third Saturday from 12-2 PM. We will have: a brief CTCT info/presentation/tour, a hot meal, giveaways, and a topic (chosen by participants) to include a possible speaker and community vendors based on the topic, andchildcare space available on-siteSome topics that have been identified already include: CPR, making body products and other from breast milk, meal prepping, financial saving money, breastfeeding, teaching and developing baby communication and health, andgentle parenting,We will distribute some books based on: children herbs, Black mothers and children, nursing/breastfeeding, gentle parenting/mindful parenting and different ways to disciplinehow to balance work life and parenting,self-help genre, etc.Resources we may be distributing: formula,groceries (fresh produce, frozen meat and pantry options), diapers, more events to connect kids/parents, WFH jobs, jobs with childcare or jobs you can bring your child to, Nursing & diapering essentials available at groups (nursing pads, milk storage bags, diapers/wipes & rash creams) Bath time essentials (baby wash & lotion) Laundry supplies (stain spray & detergents)
