Description

There’s been some drastic changes to the Ventura River watershed. Come join our naturalist educator, Amy Davis, at Big Rock preserve to learn more about the watershed, how it changed and what relies on the river to survive. Along the way we’ll explore the restoration area and search for birds, tracks, and flowering plants. The walk will be about 1 mile on varied terrain. Please wear durable walking shoes, bring water and binoculars if you have them. Cost: $15 (members), $25 (non members) We’ll meet under the Hwy 33 overpass at Casitas vistas rd. Parking available there.
