The South Australian Museum is excited to team up with Believe and Achieve Psychology to deliver an inclusive social skills workshop in celebration of Relics: A New World Rises.
LEGO® Therapy Brick Club is a cool and fun workshop that allow kids to develop emotional resilience, self-esteem and social skills. It is a social development program for children with Autism and children with other social and communication needs. It uses children’s love of LEGO® play, as well as their strengths and interests, to develop communication and social skills.
Will your child play the role of the architect, supplier, builder or director? These workshops encourage teamwork, social skills, communication, sharing and problem solving. Activities reinforce positive behaviours and social interactions.
This is an inclusive, 1-hour workshop specially designed to support children between the ages of 6-12 who have autism or other additional social and communication needs. Siblings and friends are also welcome. Delivered by the experienced team from Believe and Achieve Psychology, this workshop will start with 30 minutes of LEGO® therapy followed by 30 minutes of creative building time.
