Learn the expectations needed to transition from a recreational player to a player qualified to compete at the ECNL, ODP and Collegiate levels For Goalkeepers this is a challenging and comprehensive program with primary focus on perfecting goalkeeper technique and secondary focus on tactical understanding and reading the game. Based upon the legendary SoccerPlus curriculum and approach- brought to you by Challenger Pro and its Elite Camps division. Challenger Sports Pro Programs are true player development pathways, for student athletes aspiring to play at the next level. Post to Post has established and maintained working relationships with many US-based and International coaches, scouts and universities.The field player curriculum, while based on attacking methods, teaches every player to solve problems in all areas of the field through developing technical mastery as well as creativity. The emphasis is on creative decision-making with limited time and space, and 1v1 domination. The player will be challenged to near perfection as needed to be identified to compete at the next level. SoccerPlus Camps founded by former World Cup-winning coach, the late, Tony DiCicco are designed for those new to the position of goalkeeper or looking to work towards playing in college. It is not a coincidence that former campers are playing with US National Teams, in MLS, with international clubs and in college and youth programs. Goalkeepers come to SoccerPlus to improve, but they leave SoccerPlus with a new understanding of how to achieve at the next level. Our goalkeeping staff will teach players the technical, tactical, mental, and physical aspects of this crucial position. Individualized training will focus on footwork, catching, distribution, angle play, high balls, decision-making and communication. The training experience is further enhanced as the goalkeepers are incorporated into small group training sessions and full field 11 v 11 matches. Our goal is to provide every goalkeeper with the tools they need to continue to improve long after the conclusion of camp. At all the pathway levels while focusing on the technical progressions required to be successful. The development pathway is guaranteed to challenge every level of goalkeeper. Groups are organized by age and then fine-tuned by ability to create a dynamic training group.
