Celebrate spring and join the Norman Bird Sanctuary for the 40th Annual Birds & Breakfast! Gather your flock for a buffet breakfast, guided bird walks, Hawk Talks, crafts for kids, and live music! Breakfast Seatings: Please choose between three breakfast seatings when you purchase your tickets. The first seating is at 8:30 a.m., the second seating is at 9:30 a.m., and the final seating is at 10:30 a.m. Refreshments: Your ticket includes a buffet breakfast catered by Kitchen Companion Catering. Gluten free and vegan options will be available. Entertainment: Your ticket includes crafts for children, family-friendly guided bird walks, Hawk Talks, and live music by Greg Ferreira. Bruno Painting has generously provided a paint-your-own birdhouse craft. Decorate your birdhouse to take home for your avian friends! Bird walks will run every half-hour beginning at 8:00 a.m. Hawk Talks will be held at 9:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 11:15 a.m. FAQ: Free parking will be available in the main lot at the Norman Bird Sanctuary. This event will be held on the Studio Lawn; directional signage will be posted.Inclement weather policy: This event will be cancelled in unsafe weather conditions. In the case of cancellation, refunds will be issued through Eventbrite. There is no rain/snow date. Refund policy: Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. All proceeds directly support our mission to protect our 300-acre refuge for the benefit of wildlife and the community to enjoy. All guests are asked to respect the following guidelines: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited. Outside beverages and seating are not permitted. Dogs and other pets are not allowed. Service animals are permitted. Norman Bird Sanctuary events are fundraisers in support of our mission to engage a community of stewards to preserve, protect and enjoy this 300-acre property and the ecosystems within and beyond its stone walls. Through conservation, historic preservation, education and exploration, we foster lifelong connections between people and the Sanctuary’s rich and diverse habitats.
