Join us on April 27th for Culture & Community: an Ad 2 Marketplace & Panel Event. We are thrilled to host an evening of shopping from local BIPOC-owned business vendors, all under one roof. Afterwards, Colle McVoy will be presenting a case study featuring their Houston White body of work and its impact on bringing people, cultures and communities together. We will have volunteers stationed at each access point to help attendees in until doors close.Panelists:Hayley Matthews-Jones Founder and CEO of Minneapolis Craft Market and Minneapolis Vintage Market, and the COO for The Get Down Coffee Company Hayley Matthews-Jones is the Founder and CEO of Minneapolis Craft Market and Minneapolis Vintage Market, and the COO for The Get Down Coffee Company. Since 2015, she has built a thriving market scene in the Twin Cities, working with more than 1,700 local artists, 300 vintage vendors and dozens of venues, the market is now an established part of Minneapolis/St. Paul culture. She brings her dual skills in both creativity and logistics to her role at The Get Down, and has helped it grow into a nationally recognized brand carried in Target, with a flagship café and new roastery in just two years. Sam Soulek VP, Group Design Director, 10 Thousand Design (Colle McVoy) Sam is an accomplished Group Creative Director with over 20 years of experience in brand design, retail branding, and experiential advertising. A designer by trade, Sam is passionate about the craft of his work and its ability to connect with people, while making a positive impact on the world. Currently, Sam oversees a team of world-class designers, and takes pride in nurturing the people as much as he does the work. With 10 years at Colle McVoy and 10 Thousand Design, Sam has helped build their team and culture by cultivating an environment of creative growth. He is part of the Culture Leadership Team who champions diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging by evolving the way we work. He is also part of The Brand Lab x Target Fellowship program that mentors young professionals and prepares them for work in the creative industry. On the side he operates as the Creative Director for Houston White Co., and loves to work with other small businesses and entrepreneurs to make their dreams become reality. Sabrina Peitz Senior Designer, 10 Thousand Design (Colle McVoy) Sabrina Peitz is a Senior Designer at 10 Thousand Design, a designer for the Houston White Co., and a member of UnderRepresented. Her day to day consists of traditional graphic design, environmental design, experiential design, event design and even a little mixed media creative. She has a passion for celebrating people and has made it her mission to uplift BIPOC communities through her design work.
