On Wednesday, April 26, at 3:00 PM CT, the Herzing University Minneapolis campus will host a Layperson Naloxone (NARCAN) training session. The Steve Rummler HOPE Network will offer Naloxone training to all interested students, staff, teachers and community members. During this training session, you will learn how to: Recognize the signs of an opioid overdoseAcquire knowledge of how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug NaloxoneUnderstand the role of harm reduction in the overall opioid public health crisis solutions/action plan/strategy.After the session, all attendees will get intramuscular naloxone to take home with them.
