In this workshop you will learn the basics of what it takes to make stained glass windows while working on creating a star sun catcher with the colors of your choosing. The star will be finished at the end of three hours and ready to take home and show off to your friends and family while it sparkles in your window. There is no experience necessary for the Basic Beginner workshop, you will learn as you go. There will be prolonged standing and glasses or safety glasses (provided) will have to be worn at all times. All you have to do is bring yourself (16 years or older please) in some closed-toe shoes, no sandals, and the ability to have some fun. Materials for making the star will be provided, that includes: your choice of glass, glass cutter, grinder, foil, rubber gloves, flux, solder, soldering iron, your choice of patina, cleaner for your windows, and the last step...wax There will be a maximum of 6 students for the Basic Beginner class.
