A leader’s ability to communicate clearly and effectively is one of the foundations of a successful team or project. At PALS at UCF, our mission is to empower the next generation of leaders by demonstrating the vital role that empathy, communication, and life and social skills play in personal and professional success. With our theme of Communication and Emotional Intelligence, our goal is to inspire and educate our participants on the power of these skills, and how they can be utilized in both leadership and personal development. We believe that college preparedness is an essential component of personal growth, and as such, our experts will be providing mock interviews, college advising, and mentoring to all youth participants. Our participants will have the unique opportunity to experience college life first-hand by staying in dorms at the largest public university in the U.S. This immersive experience will allow them to understand the college experience and prepare themselves for the next stage of their education. At PALS, we offer a wide variety of workshops and activities that cater to all interests. Whether you are passionate about making a difference, public speaking, mental health, LGBTQ+ issues, anti-bullying, forming friendships, or learning how to get ready for college or the workforce, we have a workshop or activity that you will find interesting, inspiring, and definitely worthwhile.
