About Love in The Time of Fentanyl: "As deaths in Vancouver, Canada reach an all-time high, the Overdose Prevention Society opens its doors—a renegade supervised drug consumption site that employs active and former drug users. Its staff and volunteers do whatever it takes to save lives and give hope to a marginalized community in this intimate documentary that looks beyond the stigma of people who use fentanyl and other drugs." -PBS.org Thrive for Change invites you to join us for this screening event to come together as a community to talk about how we can address stigma and make a difference locally. Attendees will each be provided with their own free Narcan kit, overdose response training, & additional resources. Event Details: 6 PM - Doors Open and attendees can walk through the Dispelling Stigma Gallery from Project White Butterfly which is a gallery designed to educate people about substance use disorder and cultivate a community where people are supported as they recover. 6:30 PM - Film Screening Starts 8 PM - Film Ends & Panel Discussion Begins 8:30 PM - Overdose Response with Narcan Training 9 PM - Event Concludes **Masks Strongly Recommended & Will Be Provided On-Site About The Panelists: Learn more about Save Our Families Learn more about the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. You can park on Meadowbrook Blvd or access free parking in the lot behind the Cedar-Lee Theater across the street.
