Andover Choral Society, directed by Matthew Buono, will present its spring concert on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 3 p.m. at North Andover High School. The concert, entitled “Sunday with Salieri and Schubert,” will feature Antonio Salieri's Mass in D and Franz Schuabert's Mass in G . Salieri became Schubert's teacher n mentor in the early 1800s, when Schubert was only twelve years old. This combined performance of the two works highlights Salieri's influence on his student, as well as Schubert's distinctive genius. Concert tickets are availablefor $25 in advance ($30 at the door) and $10 for students. A group rate of ten tickets for $20 each is also available. North Andover High School is located at 430 Osgood Street, North Andover, MA and is handicapped accessible. Off-street parking is available in the school's parking lot.
