Learn the basic techniques which will launch your own obsession with resin! We'll cover all the basics to get you started creating your own unique piece of resin and glass art. For an idea of the most advanced versions of this art, visit your instructor's website at https://www.mendedheartglass.com. Every student will start with a sealed picture frame with clear glass and choose from templates provided including a crab, dragonfly, butterfly, palm tree, mermaid, sea turtle, and more! We'll provide you with stained glass scraps, buttons, glass frit, beads, and other baubles and bits so that you can create your own version of your subject on your glass. Then, you'll mix the right amount of resin and seal your project for a lifetime of beauty and joy! Your version of this project is sure to dazzle your friends and family! Other items provided to each student include: masks (optional), gloves, protection glasses, tweezers, and other tools to help keep each student safe in the classroom. Join us for an afternoon of learning something new and making new friends! We hope to see you there and we can't wait to see what you make! NOTE: Your project will need 24 hours to cure in a dry, dust-free place. We will send you home with a way to keep your project safe from pet hair and other contaminants, however, students are advised to leave their projects overnight at Craftspace if at all possible to ensure the best possible result.
