This follow-along class is an introductory class intended for people newer to Qigong who want to try and experience the benefits first-hand as well as enjoy group energy. Qigong is a mind-body-spirit practice that improves one’s mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing technique, self-massage, sound, and focused intent. Qigong does not require any skill level or experience. No equipment is needed. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and learn simple energy practices to release stress, calm your mind, and improve your health. DISCLAIMER Exercise is not without its risks and this or any other exercise program may result in injury. If at any point while practicing Qigong you begin to feel faint, dizzy or experience physical discomfort, please stop immediately and consult a medical professional. If you have a chronic illness of any kind, please consult your physician before attending class to determine if Qigong is right for you.
