Description

Come float the beautiful Barren River in the Duncan Hines’ Duck Paddle. Race for prizes or take a leisurely float from the Downtown BGKY Riverfront to Boatlanding Park. All skill levels and abilities are welcome. Don’t have a boat? We’ve got you covered! Kayaks (single and tandem) and canoes are available for rent. Adaptive boats/disabilities also welcome. All participants will receive a swag bag of goodies from local businesses and organizations. Registration opens April 1 and pricing info coming soon. After the race, join us for a free Boatlanding Block Party with activity stations for the whole family! *Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (in tandem kayak or canoe). Race starts at 8am; it’s a 6-mile float (approx.. 1.5-3.5 hours)* *Participants under 12 must provide their own life jacket* Detailed parking, transportation, and race information will be emailed to participants no later than May 26th
