SUNFLOWER - 6 Week Stained Glass Workshop

Description

This class you will learn the steps to make your own stained glass suncatcher!! You will choose from a wide selection of glass and there will be limited agate slices available if you choose to use one as the center. This workshop will begin June 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and will go for 6 weeks every Tuesday (excluding the week of July 4th). You will transfer your pattern to the glass you have selected, score & break the glass down to your pattern. Use the grinder to get your piece to fit together, apply copper foil, burnish, solder and polish in a 6 week workshop. This 6 week class will not qualify for the repeat student discount. Ages 18 & older. Due to the use of lead-based solder, please no pregnant or nursing mothers. Please dress comfortably. No open-toed shoes. All safety equipment will be available for you to use, or bring your own to assure proper fit. The "Going" button does not get you registered or reserve you a seat in class. You must reserve your seat via EventBrite.com or contact me to make other arrangements. Class size is limited to 6 people so it may fill up quickly. Class is located on Highway 75 (Washington Blvd) just south of Tuxedo next to Diamond's Dog Grooming and across the highway from the Hampton Inn. The Crafty Candle sign is above the door. Private classes are also available. In the private classes you invite 4 (minimum) to 6 (maximum) people of your choosing. YOU choose the pattern or theme, date & time (providing myself and the classroom is available). Private classes are 3-4 hours long, and you get to take home your finished piece!
