This special event is designed to encourage you in keeping your heart centered on Christ throughout all aspects of the Christian woman's life. Guest speaker Christy Cabe, local author and creator of many Christian living resources, will be our morning keynote speaker on this topic. Morning and afternoon breakout sessions will expound upon our theme. Cami Gross of OneHeart will be providing the event's Ministry Spotlight. OneHeart Disability Ministry is an organization focused on reaching people with disabilities and their families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Conference attendees will be given the opportunity to support this important local ministry. Worship will be led by Dave Newcomer and Pastor Jonathan Lindstrom. Lunch will be provided by the FBC Men's Ministry. She has been known to make her readers cry and laugh within the span of a few moments as she focuses on truth, hope, and humor. Christy enjoys telling a good story in hopes that the reader will walk away encouraged and inspired to grow in their love for God, and for others. Her first book, Brownie Crumbs and Other Life Morsels, was released in 2017 with her second book, If Only It Were a Piece of Cake following in 2019. Both are memoirs that offer hope through story and Biblical principles. Christy has a degree in educational ministries from Huntington University, drinks coffee every morning, and lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana with her husband, Kraig, and their three children.
