The Haas PE Club & VC Club are proud to present Chamath Palihapitiya for a 1:1 interview encompassing all things tech, finance and life. Chamath is the CEO of Social Capital (USD 4 bn investment firm) and a co-host of a global top podcast - All-In. Alongside having launched multiple SPACs including SoFI, Opendoor and Virgin Galactic. Before Social Capital, he was an early senior employee at Facebook and is credited for creating its ‘growth’ team that helped facilitate its rapid scaling. Born in Sri Lanka, Chamath immigrated to Canada at a young age where his family was granted refugee status. A product of public schools, he later graduated with a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
