Join us at Edgerton Memorial UMC where William Strickland of Strickland Art Gallery (2020 Artist of the Year for Johnston County in the Johnston Now Magazine) for another season of ART WITH HEART! Art with Heart is now it's 3rd year of ministry and we are gearing up for a fantastic summer program with the kids...but this night is for all you kids at heart to come and be inspired, imagine, create! This is a FREE event so space is limited, RSVP today!! All materials and light refreshments will be provided, all you need to bring is an open mind, and open heart and a willingness to get messy! A note from William: "ART WITH HEART is a young ministry that hopes to spark acts of kindness with the gift of creativity. The real gift will come from the collective energy of the group participating. We will share learn and grow from our shared experiences. Been stressed. What can little old me bring to the table??? Just my true gratitude and appreciation for the comfort art brings to my life. This last painting was a journey of meditation to be ready for this program. Can't wait to see what God does with all our colors and broken pieces. Love being part of a beautiful mosaic."
