Are you an educator who wants to integrate creative media arts into your classrooms? Teachers, after-school providers, librarians—anyone who works with youth—explore the language of visual arts and project design to engage students in core content standards as well as VAPA and NCA standards. Build students' STEAM skill sets, communication, collaboration, and self expression. Our two hour participatory workshops introduce you to digital media arts, Visual Thinking Strategies, and the methods and strategies to integrate media arts into your core subject lesson plans. Leave the workshop with a ready media arts project aligned to the workshop's core theme, integrated with digital photography. Note: You can attend one or all four workshops! Register for each separately. Workshop #3: Let Me Introduce Myself What makes me unique? Learn about perspectives and composition in portraiture photography. Students explore, understand, and express their unique identity through photography and writing with a final triptych and written piece.
