During a crisis, no matter how quickly professional emergency responders arrive, bystanders will always be first on the scene. This class will teach you how to take simple actions immediately to help save a life. This FREE course is part lecture and part hands-on skills training. In it, you will learn how to: -Recognize bleeding that is life-threatening -Apply direct pressure to wound -Apply a tourniquet No prior medical knowledge or training is necessary to take the course. Stop The Bleed is a 90-minute course designed as a one-time certification to provide you with the knowledge and skills to help save a life. This course is presented by the Greenville Stop the Bleed and the Performer Advocacy Coalition.
