Erev Cantor Josh Goldberg presents this recital in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a Master's Degree in Jewish Sacred Music and Cantorial Ordination from the Academy for Jewish Religion, CA. This concert will feature music from great synagogue composers and cantors including Lewis Lewandoski, Max Helfman, Uri Frenkel, Michael Isaacson, Meir Finkelstein, Jonathan Comisar, and more. Music direction by Dr. Tali Tadmor and featuring special guests: Cantor Emma Lutz, Cantor Chayim Frenkel, Erev Cantor Heather Seid, and a vocal quartet. Following the recital will be the official debut of Josh's feature film, Morning, A Journey: A Visual Album. This unique form of musical storytelling blends Josh's original music, spoken word, and stunning imagery that provides a unique and immersive prayer experience. After the film, stick around for a Q&A and reception with Josh and cinematographer Madi Goldstein.
