The Atlanta Film Production Group is the largest film community in the greater Atlanta area. Founded by Edward Reid back in 2014, it has almost 35K members ranging from brand-new filmmakers to seasoned veterans. AFPG is here as a resource for the community to network, troubleshoot, ask questions, find locations, crew up. etc. Our goal is to build a strong and thriving community, so everyone needs to remember that you only get what you put into it. Everyone here is valuable and essential to making the group what it is. We have to support each other not just during production but afterward. We spend days, weeks, and months on a project so building an audience is just as important as putting the cast and crew together. As creators, we should be the first ones watching our communities content because we personally know how important that is. We have witnessed individuals find their cast and crew and complete their films, then get distribution (I am an example). It is up to you, your motivation, and your planning (and sometimes luck) as to if you will succeed in this industry. That is what we want for you, and we want to help support you.
